Mackeene is a brand founded by two brothers who are passionate about adventure and surfing. With a concept already established in Saint Barth, Mackeene called on Nestore to launch on the French market. Their Business being seasonal in France (swimsuit), the pop-up store 36 Rue Etienne Marcel was perfectly suited to adapt the concept to the market before permanent development.

“We created a pop-up store because naturally people want to try on a swimsuit and not look at an image. And then feeling the universe of a brand like ours is important, it puts you in a state of mind. So touching the material, seeing the true color, seems totally obvious to me.”
Harold Mackeene, co-founder Mackeene

The Mackeene pop-up shops take up the world of skiing and Saint Barth with harpoons, skateboards, photographs of the island, plants... Harold Mackeene talks about a “Go slow” store. They created a relaxation area with a vintage sofa to chat with their customers so that they could take their time. Her wish is for visitors to feel good in their store.
In the Mackeene pop-up store, you can also find small brands that the founders particularly love, such as Mismo, a brand of bags for men, La Petite Lunette Rouge and Native Sons, or even Miansai, a jewelry brand. These young brands blend completely into the decor of the store and the universe of Mackeene.
Created in 2006, Mackeene is first and foremost the story of two brothers from an island, Saint Barthélemy. Their Caribbean flagship store is located in Gustavia and offers a collection of swim shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, bath towels, and a carefully considered selection of complementary brands, including sunglasses, bags, bags, surfboards, and books.
The brand's watchwords: functional and chic.
